Brokk introduces several new lines of attachments at Bauma in April 2019. Brokk robots are increasingly used for more tasks at the work site, and Brokk is now meeting that demand with the development of new attachments. This includes a whole new range of Brokk Drum Cutters and an upgraded range of Brokk Demolition Grapples that will be introduced at Bauma. In addition, the full range of the recently announced Brokk Hydraulic Breakers and new Darda Concrete Crushers will be on display.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Brokk demolition robots are historically mostly associated with their core attachments such as hydraulic breakers and concrete crushers. However, as Brokks machines have become more technically advanced and market demand for mechanization has increased, demolition robots are increasingly used for a more varied range of applications requiring additional tools. <\/p>\n Brokk Hydraulic Breakers<\/strong><\/p>\n In 2018, Brokk announced its own product line of hydraulic breakers. A full range of eight high-performance breakers optimized for Brokk demolition robots, from the 50 kg compact BHB 55 to the powerful 700 kg BHB 705 breaker. At Bauma this year, this product range will be extended further.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Brokk drum cutters<\/strong><\/p>\n By the time of Bauma, Brokk will have introduced its own full range of drum cutters, BDC (Brokk Drum Cutter). The range starts with the brand new BDC 40 for the smallest Brokk 60 model, BDC 50 and BDC 100 for the mid-range of Brokk robots, and BDC 250 for the biggest Brokk Machines.<\/p>\n This introduction represents the world\u2019s first complete line of drum cutters that are designed and optimized specifically for use on demolition robots. They are developed to meet the demand for increased use of Brokk machines in underground applications and the use of Brokk machines to carry out more applications in the construction sector.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Brokk Demolition Grapples<\/strong><\/p>\n Brokk will introduce its upgraded line of demolition grapples at Bauma, including the new G32 grapple designed for the most compact Brokk models. The new model features a wider grip of 320mm and an improved rotating function.<\/p>\n Together with its bigger sibling, the G50, Brokk has a unique solution for \u201csoft demolition\u201d. Compared to standard grapples on the market, the design of Brokk\u2019s G-series of demolition grapples is unique to Brokk and optimized for use on Brokk\u2019s demolition robots.<\/p>\n Mechanized \u201csoft demolition\u201d is an increasingly popular application for Brokk\u2019s demolition robots. It provides significant time and cost savings over manual methods, which often are the only other alternative in tight, confined spaces. And the flexibility and precision of the demolition robots\u2019 arm system makes it a more productive solution than using mini-excavators or similar equipment.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Darda Concrete Crushers<\/strong><\/p>\n The Brokk company Darda GmbH has also upgraded its concrete crusher line of attachments for the Brokk robots. The full new range of crushers, including the newly introduced CC440, CC480 and CC580 will all be on display at Bauma.<\/p>\n These new crushers feature significantly increased performance, with higher crushing power and wider jaw openings. The improvements make it possible to crush thicker and harder concrete slabs, while keeping to the same size and weight segment. The new Darda crushers are of course a perfect fit for their respective Brokk model.<\/p>\n With these additions, Darda has further improved and extended their already market leading range of compact concrete crushers.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Brokk Drill Attachments<\/strong><\/p>\n Over the last few years Brokk has invested in developing rock drill attachments for Brokk machines. These are customized and fully integrated with the control and operation of the Brokk robots. Now the range has been extended with the powerful new TE 326 drill attachment used on the new Brokk 300 and Brokk 500 models.<\/p>\n This creates a complete range of rock drills for Brokk machines, from the small TE160 used on the compact Brokk 110 to the powerful TE360 used on the biggest Brokk machines. And like all things Brokk, all drill rigs are characterized by their exceptional performance-to-weight ratio.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Brokk \u2013 the multi-purpose robot<\/strong><\/p>\n Brokk demolition robots are becoming the \u201cSwiss army knife\u201d at many work sites, used for a wide variety of applications and tasks. With their flexible and compact design, their use is only limited by the availability of different types of attachments.
