The challenge involves people filming themselves getting drenched with ice water and nominating others to do the same to help raise awareness for amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), also known as Lou Gehrig\u2019s Disease. The video is posted to social media, and the nominee can accept the challenge, make a donation to the ALS Association, or both.<\/p>\n
