Brokk Inc. is excited to announce the addition of James \u201cCat\u201d Catalanotto to the U.S. sales team as our new regional sales representative in the New England states. He is responsible for supporting current customers and uncovering new opportunities in Connecticut, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine.<\/p>\n
Catalanotto resides in Boston where he owns and operates EMCAT, LLC, a manufacturer\u2019s representative company that works with several other complementary brands, including Dixie Diamond Manufacturing.<\/p>\n
Catalanotto says he\u2019s excited about seeking out the kinds of challenges that only Brokk\u2019s compact, remote-controlled machines can handle. \u201cBrokk machines have proven their unique capabilities on some of the largest projects in the world,\u201d he said. \u201cAs the largest and most experienced specialty robotic equipment company in the industry, Brokk also has earned its reputation as the cream of the crop for support after the sale. Catalanotto brings with him 22 years of sales experience gained in sales roles with Husqvarna Construction Products, Olathe, Kan., and Pro-Companies, Waltham, Mass. He first encountered Brokk machines on the Big Dig in Boston in the early 1990s. Officially known as the Central Artery\/Tunnel Project, the Big Dig was a massive undertaking that rerouted Interstate 93 from the city center into a 3\u00bd-mile tunnel.<\/p>\n
