Brokk Inc.<\/a>, the North American distributor for Ecovolve<\/a> equipment, now offers the battery-powered EL500 mini loader to the North American market. Designed to meet the growing demand for emission-free construction and demolition jobsite solutions, the EL500 combines high-torque electric drive technology with compact maneuverability. The loader lifts up to 1,110 pounds (500 kg) with ease while a fully charged battery runs efficiently for a full shift, making it ideal for heavy daily use.<\/p>\n

Brokk will showcase the EL500 alongside other equipment innovations at Booth P8448<\/strong> during CONEXPO-CON\/AGG 2026<\/a>, March 3-7.<\/p>\n

“The EL500 offers our customers a mini loader that meets today\u2019s sustainability standards without sacrificing productivity,” said Jeff Keeling, vice president of sales and marketing at Brokk Inc. “This machine is built for indoor and outdoor jobsites and gives contractors the flexibility to work longer and harder with lower overall operating and maintenance costs.”<\/p>\n

The EL500\u2019s compact footprint \u2014 less than 32 inches \u2014 and increased maneuverability allows contractors to operate in areas inaccessible to larger machines. Ecovolve loaders are designed to avoid scratching or damaging finished surfaces, perfect for indoor use. Its low-noise operation gives operators the ability to comply with noise restrictions and regional regulations. In addition, reduced vibration and improved operator comfort support longer operating cycles and safer working conditions. The communication system produces audible and visual warning systems via working lamps that alert the operator to the machine\u2019s condition.<\/p>\n

Engineered for demanding applications with a heavy-duty chassis and reinforced structure, the machine can withstand the challenges posed in demolition and high-impact applications. The EL500 features a lifting capacity of up to 1,100 pounds (500 kilograms). With its low center of gravity, its unique pivot points allow for a tipping discharge of 1.9. Interchangeable attachments enhance versatility across multiple phases of a project with options including a bucket, hydraulic breaker, floor scraper, vacuum lift, loading bucket and pallet fork.<\/p>\n

The EL500 lowers operating and maintenance costs compared to diesel-powered equivalents due to needing no fuel, no oil changes and featuring fewer moving parts to maintain. Quick access panels make service requirements simple and fast. The 9.6 kWh AGM battery delivers consistent power, reducing running costs while keeping operation smooth.<\/p>\n
