Brokk is no stranger to mining around the world, and with a successful debut at MINExpo 2012 in Las Vegas, the company is reaffirming its position in international mining.

More than 50,000 attendees walked the Las Vegas Convention Center for the show, making it the largest to date. Peter Bigwood, vice president of sales and marketing for Brokk Inc., said that several attendees engaged in various types of mining were very enthusiastic about the possibilities for Brokk machines.

“Being able to showcase the Brokk’s versatility and meeting people within different mining sectors sparked some great creative thinking on both sides,” Bigwood said. “People in the mining sector now have a better idea of the value of the Brokk in tight-space applications, and we gained valuable insight into the challenges that they face on a day-to-day basis.”

The interest that international and national attendees showed in the Brokk equipment was gratifying, he said. Highlighting its advanced technologies and unique capabilities, the show reaffirmed Brokk’s place as a manufacturer focused on safety, productivity and efficiency. Bigwood said the company is looking forward to expanding in North America, as well as offering future innovations for Brokk users in the mining sector.
